Today is the final day of this class. Throughout this semester I feel that I have focused a lot more on the designs of my sites rather then actually coding them. I feel that when I took web one I could code sites rather well, but my designs were very bland and boring. This semester as a web two student I put a lot of focus on making a mock-up before I went about and created the actual site. Although I didn’t get a chance to finish a lot of my sites, I was able to re-create the basic layout of the site that I created through the mock-ups. I also had a tough time making websites with a lot of colors and making them look good, so this year I spent a lot of time working with color schemes and seeing what colors would work well together.

I think that as a final grade in this class, I deserve around a C because I don’t belive that I used all the time I had in this class to do work and do it well. There was a lot of time when I didn’t work to my full potential and I didn’t always use my time wisley. I think that I could have acomplished a lot more work in this class, and finish almost every site if I had used my time wisley and worked diligently.

January 6th

Today I finished my design of the over under scuba diving website. After I finished the design in photoshop I started to create the actual site. I made every page and made the basic layout for each page, now I just need to add the content to every page. This site should be finished by the end of the week.

I don’t know who I would say is more ethical, I don’t really think either was more ethical then the other. Both companies did was they needed to do to become successful, and I don’t think that either company would be where they are today if they hadn’t done what they did back then.

Today we started our jing projects, and for mine I am going to create a tutorial on something in photoshop. I am not sure what I will actually create in the tutorial but I feel that I know photoshop better then most other programs for web design.

Today i spent all class working on the site for ms schuck and i got a couple more pages done. I have to finish up the rest of the pages and then after that i have to go through and make sure the links all work correctly, and make sure everything looks good. The site should be complete by this friday.

Today I continued to work on my site that I have been working on for ms Schuck and as I was working on it I was trying to fix a lot of problems that I have run into on the last couple of days. There was a problem where the link on the left frame would open on both the left and the right frames, and I could not figure out how to fix that. Also, there were multiple pages with borders around text that were not supposed to be there, and I could not find a way to fix that either, I talked to jake about it and he said that he would help me look into it, and if possible, he may help me with a new design for the site. I just talked to ms schuck about the design part, and she said that if I want to do that I should come up with a design that I am thinking of for the site, and then talk to Ms lamier (not sure how to spell her name) and see what she says about re designing the site.

Today I continued to work on the site for ms schuck. I have to a couple more pages and then i have to make sure everything is set up right and everything works well. My plan was to be done by thanksgiving break but I don’t think I will be able to complete it by that time becuase i forgot we dont have this class on wednesday so we only have three more classes before the break. I am not sure exactly how much longer this would take me but it will hopefully be done by the end of the week when we come back from thanksgiving break.

Today I spent all class working on the site for ms Schuck. I spent the whole time working with very little side destractions. I got a lot done today, I have the design done for the most part, with a couple of things that still need to be worked on, and i got a lot of information off of the original site and onto the site I am creating. I dont have any problems at the moment and everything seems to be working out very well. I got a lot further in the past two or three days then i had expected to get and i should be completly done with the site in a couple of days, maybe by late next week.

I have not been able to write in my blog for the past couple of days becuase I have not been able to get into my account becuase i have been logged in the whole time and it wouldnt let me log back in agian. So today i am writing to cover a couple of things that i have been working on latly. I have still continued to work of my portfolio for this class, but i have not really made to much progress on that, i need to create other sites and graphics to add to my protfolio page because I don’t have that many sites to add to it yet. I have talked to ms. Schuck about the site I am working on for her, and I showed her the navagation that I planned on using for that site. She liked it a lot, and said it would work very well with the site. I need to start to do some more research on using frames because I have not used them recently and need to refresh myself on how to use them. Once I have a good understanding of frames and how they work agian, I will begin to put that site together for her, and hopefully I will have completed it within the next couple of weeks.
